We have used the Iowa Brace from the very beginning of Lakelan’s Clubfoot Journey. We love how the bar has some flexibility and the boots are so easy to put on. We have not had any issues with the boots and bar and our son still wears them nightly with his Brace Buddy at his side. He even crawled with them when first learning to crawl and now has been walking since he turned 13 months! Lakelan was born six weeks early but because of the Ponseti treatment and tremendous care at The University of Iowa Clubfoot Clinic, he is doing exceptionally well. We feel so fortunate for the Iowa Brace and the people behind the development. His feet are perfect now and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Dr. Jose Morcuende even commented that he wouldn’t know he had Clubbed feet by looking at them now!
